September 12 Fundraising run, hike and walk in La Unión

Support the Asociación Kleefstra Spain at this event in the mining scenery of La Unión

The “Cross del Sisco” event in El Garbanzal, in La Unión, on Saturday 12^th September is a chance to support a well deserving charity, the Asociación Kleefstra Spain, which helps those affected by a rare disease with the intention of raising enough money to support vital research.

If you want to contribute, come along to a nice run/hike/walk surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the mining town. After the race is finished there will be a concert and plenty of surprises as it is part of the local fiestas in the area!

Get your race number online here, with registration costs (to be donated to the charity) of 12 euros for the 5-kilometre race at 12.00 and the country hike at 19.00, and 5 euros for the children’s race at 19.00. A 5-euro fee is also available for “race number 0”, for those who wish to donate to this good cause without the physical exertion!

Please support this excellent charity and those who suffer from Kleefstra symdrome, a genetic disorder which causes a distinctive facial appearance and can be associated with symptoms such as heart defects, autism, motor delay and visual and hearing issues, as well as various behavioural symptoms.
