Murcia weekly weather April 27-30: Rain forecast all week

Tuesday and Wednesday will be the wettest days this week

While it won’t necessarily by wintry, there is the possibility of rain falling every day this week in the Region of Murcia, according to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), who note that Tuesday and Wednesday will be the wettest days of the week, even if temperatures don’t drop by too much.

Monday will actually be quite nice, with mostly clear skies and no rain forecast for Murcia at all and temperatures reaching up into the mid-20s during the day.

That changes after dawn on Tuesday, however, when “cloudy intervals with light rain” are forecast for every corner of the Region, along with “thunderstorms” and “showers” in southern and coastal areas, though the rain peters out across the board come the afternoon.

Maximum temperatures will drop by a couple of degrees, but minimums at night will actually go up ever so slightly.

Wednesday April 29

On Wednesday, it’s basically the same but in reverse: the morning will be bright and dry, but the afternoon brings more “cloudy intervals with rain showers”, mainly to the northern and western parts of the Region, followed by a dry night.

As for the temperatures, minimums will continue to rise, as will maximums, back up to highs of 22-25ºC and even as much as 27ºC in Murcia city.

Thursday April 30

Those temperatures continue to go up on Thursday, especially at night-time, when they won’t drop below 10ºC in the coldest parts of the north and hovering around 12-15ºC elsewhere.

That said, while it will be mostly dry and sunny with “cloudy intervals” for the majority of the Region, there will still be a possibility of rain in far northwestern municipalities like Bullas and Caravaca de la Cruz.

Tuesday April 28: Min 8ºC; Max 23ºC
Wednesday April 29: Min 8ºC; Max 27ºC
