January sales have started in Spain: Here's where to find the best deals

While January 6 is the official start of the sales, many stores across Spain are already offering super deals

January is not only the first month of the year but also the ultimate month for promotions in Spain. After the high spending of the holiday season, the January sales provide a chance for consumers to save a few euros with just a little planning.

This year, these sales will be especially welcome as people adapt to rising costs in electricity, housing and food.

The January sales are highly anticipated, offering an opportunity to refresh wardrobes, buy late holiday gifts or snag deals on everyday items. While traditionally sales began after Epiphany on January 6, many retailers now start their promotions weeks earlier.

Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Lefties and other stores from the Inditex group (some of the most popular) will start their online sales on the 6th, as will Mango. Everything seems to indicate that El Corte Inglés will wait until the 7th, although Sfera will have discounts from January 2.
