The “Camping Sierra Espuña” campsite in the village of El Berro in the mountains of Sierra Espuña is one of the most popular destinations in the Region of Murcia for rural tourism visitors, and occupies an area of 18,000 square metres at an altitude of around 650 metres above sea level.
Accommodation here consists of 11 log cabins and 50 plots for caravans, tents and motorhomes, with a total capacity of 215. Alongside these facilities are a bar/restaurant, ample parking, a laundry, sports facilities, mini-golf, a swimming pool, a climbing wall, a barbecue zone and a children’s play area. Wi-fi is available on the whole of the campsite, and room service is supplied to those staying in the cabins.
These are all welcome additions to the site, but of course one of the main attractions of Camping Sierra Espuña is its location, high in the mountains of central Murcia in an ideal spot for walking, mountain biking, quad biking, climbing and a host of other activities.
Dogs and other pets are permitted, but unfortunately access is not easy for those of limited mobility.
