This month the artisan market in Caravaca de la Cruz is dedicated to the festivities of san Antón and although the market includes the traditional blend of 40-50 artisan stalls and craftsmen, also includes workshops for children, with face painting, balloon sculpture, theatre and artisan demonstrations.
Alongside the market there are craft demonstrations and a chance to sample some of the products on offer. This market is one of the longest established in the Region and is always a popular place for residents in the North-west once a month.
The market takes place in the Glorieta,(or plaza de La Corredera) which is a tree lined open area near to the Templete at the entrance to the old quarter.
The market is open from 10am to 2pm (10:00 to 14:00).
