ARCHIVED - New free parking for Lorca weekly market
The town hall has organised free parking opposite the Huerto de la Rueda from this week
The main weekly shopping market in Lorca is a good one, and is much larger than many other local municipal markets, held every Thursday at the Huerto de la Rueda next to the Santa Quiteria fairground and conference centre, except during the Feria de Lorca in September when it temporarily moves to Calle Tomás Arderius. The market contains some 240 or so stalls, most of them offering clothes, food and footwear, although it is also possible to buy leather goods, jewelry, household, plants and various sundry items.
There is now free parking provided by the council opposite the Huerto de la Rueda.
After a spot of shopping why not visit the city itself, enjoy a coffee out or visit one of the many interesting sites in the city. Click for more information about the Lorca municiplity, including what's on agenda, what to visit and tourist information: LORCA TODAY
