The nearest medical centre and pharmacy are in Sucina

There are no medical facilities onsite at Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort, but local surgeries exist in Avileses and Sucina.

Avileses

The surgery (consultorio) of Dr Juan Rubio Nicolás in Calle Molino, 6, Avileses, opens on weekday mornings, but the doctor is on duty in more than one local surgery so it’s best to check or make an appointment before going. Tel 0034 968 37056.

Emergency Departments Local Hospitals

For emergencies there is the A&E department in San Javier (Los Arcos hospital is just 15 minutes’ drive down the RM-1 motorway, which you can join 1km out of the resort, before you reach Sucina: Tel 0034 968 570 050)

The main hospital in Cartagena, the Santa Lucía, also has a 24-hour Emergency department (Tel: 0034 968 128 600), as does the Virgen de la Arrixaca in Murcia (Tel: 0034 968 369 500).
