May 16 Camposol Walking Football Club annual football tournament
Annual football tournament organised by Camposol Walking Football Club attracts 8 teams from Murcia, Alicante and Andalucia
After representatives of the Camposol Walking Football Club (Camposol WFC) Committee, Steve Barrow and Paul Cassidy met with Mazarrón Councillor for Sport, Maria Isabel Carrillo and Mazarrón Councillor for Camposol, Carmen Navarro on Friday, January, 12. The green light was given to this year’s annual walking football tournament organised by Camposol WFC.
Following the success of last year’s tournament, this year’s event is sponsored by Rendezvous Cafeteria and supported by Mazarrón Council and will be held on Thursday May 16 2024.
It will be held at the Complejo Deportivo (between Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón) and the games will kick off at 11am. Don’t miss a great day of football and fun!

- CD Walking Betis - Sevilla, Andalucía
- CF La Romana - Hondon de los Frailes, Alicante
- Formentera WFC - Formentera de Segura, Alicante
- Hondon Valley WFC - Hondon de los Frailes, Alicante
- Portobello WFC - Campoverde, Alicante
- Red Lion WFC - Fortuna, Murcia.
- The Hub WFC - Orihuela Costa, Alicante
Camposol Walking Football Club, which has men’s and women’s teams, is open to new players to join in the healthy fun and entertainment. Why not give it a try? You can get in touch with them to enjoy the sport and exercise through the Camposol Walking Football Club Facebook page or drop in for a chat at their training sessions at the Complejo Deportivo, Puerto de Mazarrón (between Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón) on Mondays and Thursdays, from 10am to 11am or the Camposol Sector D football pitch on Fridays between 9am and 10am.
