The MABS “Race for Life” event raises funds to help people diagnosed with cancer

The MABS Mazarrón Cancer Support Foundation, which provides practical help and support to people who have been diagnosed with cancer, has raised 8,500 euros between registrations and donations during its traditional race for life 'Race for Live' that took place in the Camposol urbanisation on Sunday October 30 with the support of the Mazarrón Town Council and various sponsors.

MABS wanted to thank all those who have made this latest event possible by doing their part to help people with cancer, among those mentioned were Ibex Insurance, Mercers Estate Agent, Trevi Bar, Bar Salud, F.A.S.T, Green fingers Gardening group, Camposol Residents, MABS race organisers – Zue, Michael and Keith, MABS volunteers and everyone who took part.

The annual event, which has been a fixture in the municipal calendar for the last 18 years, had trophies presented by Mazarrón Councillor for Camposol, Silvana Buxton, accompanied by three additional Mazarrón Councillors.
