Here are the most popular dog names in Murcia for 2024

This year, such names as Karol G and Beyonce have been included in the Murcia list

The list of most popular names for dogs this year has been revealed by the online pet care portal, Rover.com. The report has analysed data from millions of pet names, provided by their owners, to find out the most popular names and the main trends in each region of Spain.

Coco, in terms of volume, is the most popular name for a dog in the Region of Murcia. Nala, Luna and Kira were close behind on the list of most popular canine names of 2024.

Furthermore, the list not only revealed the most popular name, but also exposed the names which have increased the most in popularity. Top of this list is the name Maya, followed closely by Chico and Cora.

The list also compiled the most popular dog names throughout the whole country, finding that sports personalities and celebrities have had a big influence on dog names this year. The names Taylor, after Taylor Swift, and Jude, after the football player for Real Madrid, have made the list of popular dog names with a large increase in the past year.

For mixed breed dogs, Mojito is the name with the highest growth in popularity, while for Yorkshire terriers, Paco reigns supreme as a name. For labradors, the names Milo and Bimba saw huge increases in popularity, while for Border Collies, Zoe and Rio were popular.

So, there we have it, some of the the most popular names for dogs in Murcia and Spain have been revealed, and it is clear that the names people are giving to their dogs are ever more interesting and varied with each passing year.
