ARCHIVED - First Canine Kayaking event in Mazarron a big success
The event was a fundraiser for the Mazarrón Animal Protection Association (APROAMA)
The Ermita beach was the venue for what could become an annual event in the Mazarrón municipality, as pets and their owners participated in the “1st Canine Kayak Walk” to be held in Puerto de Mazarrón for the benefit of the Mazarrón Animal Protection Association (APROAMA), supported by the municipal departments of Animal Welfare and Sports, as well as the Grímpola nautical school.
Silvia García, councillor for Animal Welfare, explained that “all particiapnts enjoyed a kayak trip around the beach of La Isla, both owners and pets, spending a fun and different day, as well as solidarity, since the proceeds were destined to the APROAMA association, who work throughout the year to improve the welfare of the municipality's animals ”.
