ARCHIVED - February 11 Mazarron hosts leg of the Cycling Tour of the Region of Murcia
One of the ‘Flying Goals’ will pass through Mazarrón’s Avenida Constitución next weekend
Mazarrón is no stranger to famous sporting events and next weekend an important leg of the Cycling Tour of the Region of Murcia Costa Cálida will zoom through its streets.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, accompanied by Francisco Guzmán, general director of the Cycling Tour, launched the Mazarrón Flying Goal event this week.
This test stage will pass through Mazarrón on Saturday February 11 on Avenida Constitución, where the Flying Finish Line "Mariano Rojas Memorial" will be located. The scheduled time for the athletes to pass through the municipal area is around 4pm.
Mayor Miras thanked the organiser of the Cycling Tour of the Region of Murcia for choosing Mazarrón for this exciting event, and also conveyed the municipality’s interest in being the starting point for the traditional sporting event in the future.
