August 24 Biggest MMA tournament in Spain comes to Benidorm
The Costa Blanca showdown promises to be the biggest sporting event of the summer

This Saturday August 24, the biggest MMA (mixed martial arts) event in Spain is set to take over Benidorm in a night of electrifying action you won’t want to miss.
WAR 3 is bringing the heat with 12 epic fights at the iconic Julio Iglesias amphitheatre - a stunning open-air venue that will host more than 5,000 roaring fans.
Starting at 9.30pm, witness the best of professional and amateur MMA, featuring top fighters like Salah Hamli 'El Verdugo', a rising UFC star, and other elite competitors from around the globe.
With five professional bouts, six amateur clashes and a mystery match between two famous locals, this event promises to be the highlight of the summer.
The buzz is real after WAR 2’s incredible success, and this showdown is set to surpass all expectations. Whether you're a hardcore MMA fan or just looking for a thrilling night out, WAR 3 is the place to be.
Grab your tickets here and be part of history as Benidorm becomes the epicentre of Spanish MMA.
Here’s the line-up:
The card will be headlined by the 70kg main event between Salah Hamli 'El Verdugo' against Portuguese Samuel Cassimiro.
The previous fight will pit Niedziela, who was a top 5 for Bellator, against Felipe Maia at 77kg, who is back after being defeated in the last edition.
Before that, it will be Mădălin's turn against Jesús Ruiz at 70 kg and Stéphane will fight at 61.2 kg against a yet-to-be-named opponent.
The professional card will open with the clash between Tomas Tatin and El Jaghdal at 70 kg, both experts in Muay Thai, so a “very powerful” fight is expected.
