ARCHIVED - Considerable fall in new covid cases across Murcia Region this weekend
The number of patients receiving hospital care is slowly falling
Throughout the last three days the number of new coronavirus cases reported in the Murcia region has continued to fall, most notably on Monday.
The figures are always reported on the following day, so the data published on Monday relate to the 24 hour period concluding at midnight on Sunday. Monday figures are usually non-representative of the remainder of the week as less staff work and there is little PCR testing activity on a Sunday, but this week there were less than 1,000 PCR tests carried out so the number of new cases is exceptionally low this Monday.
Number of new cases reported during the last three days:
Monday: 38
9 cases correspond to the municipality of Cartagena, 4 to Murcia, 3 to Archena, and 3 to Yecla.
